Boy we have not had rain in MONTHS and MONTHS now that we moved to Cuero we have gotten 2 really really good rains. Today was a bit too much for me as the tornado sirens went off 2 times! Yikes!! Joe said he heard some wind gusts were 80 mph. Dee Dee was telling us that when she came out of Walmart she saw the tail end of a tornado going back up in the clouds. YIKES this about 1/2 mile from my house!!!
Joe and I are learning very quickly what we need in this house. LOL We need to bring truck loads of dirt in to the yard to see if we can get it not to have huge puddles (a lake) in it, we need to buy rubber boots, we NEED to get the roof fixed over the bathroom, etc etc etc. :-) And most importantly I am cleaning the boxes I have stored in the master bedroom small closet so we can go in there if we need to when the tornado sirens go off. Yep....that is a MUST!
We went and drove around after the storm with Brice. Man it is amazing how fast the rain come and how much. I think we got another 5 inches if not more today in just a tad over an hour. We had a tree that went down :( Luckily it was a small one out near the road.
LOL We took Little Buddy up by the little lake in town. He was having a fit hanging out the window wanting to get to the ducks and geese. Finally Joe got out with him and he went crazy trying to get them. Brice was laying so hard I thought he was going to pee his pants LOL
Awwww never boring around this place :-)
Darn it though we had just started to put the dry wall up in the closet. So much for getting anything done tonight.
